Sr. Manuel’s Seafood Bar, born from the transformation of an old grocery store in lively Rua Amarela, redefines dining by blending bar conviviality with seafood delights, inspired by its historical roots.

In January 2024, we embarked on a remodel aimed at solidifying its position as a dynamic seafood destination.

Sr. Manuel pays tribute to the classic grocer, Mr. Manuel, while staying fresh and modern. The space is filled with small, loving details, like the simple, warm message “dá cá um beijo amor” that adds a touch of care and connection.

For the space, the primary goal would be to emphasize the restaurant and bar areas. To achieve this, we divided the room into two sections with a wall featuring an arched passage. On the bar side, there is a darker ambiance with fabric-upholstered benches and tables made of white marble. On the other side, there is a brighter atmosphere with green tiles and oversized prints of seafood.

For brand touches, we created a sleek transparent acrylic menu, custom coasters, and shirts showcasing the brand’s unique pattern.

For this project, numerous custom pieces were designed, but there is one that stands out: the orange-colored lamp, composed by 3 metal rings and 500 laser-cut acrylic pieces.
