Pandemic brought us a real world challenge: to help make up artists, by increasing their awareness and bringing credibility to NYX. The idea was to build a platform that bring together make up artists and Portuguese people that look for the best make up artists in the country. We started by developing a brand identity for the project, and then a design experience for the website.
Make up artist
Making-up someone is like painting a canvas but in an even more difficult environment.
It’s real people’s faces. All different.
Different colors. Different tastes. Different expressions.
An art. A draw. A process.

Identity
This industry is dominated by eccentricity, quality brands, and a craving for beauty.
We’ve interviewed a group of make up artists to understand their needs and what could help them in that crisis. All they wanted to increase their personal brand awareness, and to have the chance to manage the way they sell their work to potential clients.

Stage 1: call make up artists
Before launching the platform, we developed a campaign to impact make up artists and call them to belong to this new world, being part of the biggest community of artists.
Stage 2: call Portuguese people
The platform was developed for both B2B and B2C, in order to recruit make up artists along the way and also present them to clients. However, the focus was B2C, by developing a search engine with filters and categories that help them find the make up artist that best suits them.

Private area
The make up artists can manage their professional profile, and add photos, videos, categories, professional levels, reviews.
